CaMordTu is designed never to send your personal data to a server. Here is exactly what the app does and doesn't do with your information.
Location
CaMordTu uses your GPS location only to determine, directly on your device, which Quebec fishing zone you're in. Your location is never stored on a server, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or tracking. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → CaMordTu.
Fishing log
Your catches (species, location, size, notes, photos) are stored only on your device, in a file encrypted at rest (iOS complete file protection). They are never sent to a server. If you choose to share a catch (a “Carnet du Capitaine” image) with the share button, you decide where it goes — the app itself sends nothing.
Photos
When you add a photo to a catch, you pick it yourself in the iOS photo picker; CaMordTu only gets the images you select and keeps a copy on your device only.
No account, no tracking
CaMordTu requires no account, contains no advertising or third-party analytics, and does not track you across apps.
Data collected by Apple
As with any iOS app, the App Store itself may collect standard installation and diagnostic data, governed by Apple's own privacy policy — CaMordTu has no access to any of this personal data.
